Greetings! I sincerely hope you are being blessed with the weekly doses of God’s Word. This week, I would like to encourage you to be determined.
In hard work, there is always something to gain, but idle talk only leads to poverty. [Proverbs 14:23]
About five years ago, I got on a bus heading home. The seating was uncomfortable, as the bus was quite small. While trying to find a more comfortable position, I noticed the man seated next to me pull out a book and pen and begin writing.
I was greatly astonished to see him do this, especially since we were all squeezed in tightly! My initial assumption was that he was studying.
"What a great man!" I thought to myself.
I kept reflecting on how, while so many people were distracted by their phones, this man had chosen to study. Despite the tight space, he refused to put down his pen and book. I was inspired.
However, the man soon surprised me. He pulled out his phone and began comparing the content on it to what was in the book. That's right! He was playing Bola Bet!
I still find it hard to understand his unwavering commitment to playing Bola Bet in such a situation. Nevertheless, I learned something important from him that, when applied correctly, can take you far.
DETERMINATION! If you are determined to achieve something, then nothing can stop you.
